PU substrate, not textile
The magnets are glued onto a flexible polyurethane film; the textile housing that is sewn in comes next.
Magnetic strips and magnet blocks
Nd-Fe-B magnets laid end to end on a flexible polyurethane film. The strip is cut to the useful length, then the magnet blocks slide into a pocket, a sheath or a housing sewn into your product. Four widths, BA-V04 to BA-V12, each with its own datasheet, in N40 as standard and N45 to N52 on request.

The magnets are glued onto a flexible polyurethane film; the textile housing that is sewn in comes next.
The width, the cut length and the chosen grade determine the hold of the fastener.
A fastener is built with two magnet blocks of the same length, active faces facing each other.
BA catalog
Magnet Strips are delivered in 96 cm lengths, then cut into Magnet Blocks at the useful length. The format sets the magnetised width, the strip width and the rows. All are documented in grade N40.

Selected configuration
The starting format to validate a flexible fastener, easy to integrate and still very compact.
Magnetic grade
All BA formats are documented in grade N40 (NdFeB magnets): datasheets available, the recommended starting point for sampling. Grades N45, N48 and N52 exist as custom options and are qualified per project.

Available grades
N40 documented, N45 to N52 on requestThe grade sets the magnetic power: each step increases the attraction. The right grade mostly depends on the use case: substrate, gap between active faces and expected hold.
The grade adjusts the strength of the fastener, not its size or appearance. In practice, start with N40 (documented), then move up in grade only if the hold measured on the prototype requires it.
Custom grade
Need a higher grade (N45 / N48 / N52)? We qualify it with you, case by case, in a call.
How to choose
A fastener is made of two complementary Magnet Blocks. The cut length, the strip width and the thickness between active faces directly influence the result.
The V04, V06, V08 or V12 format sets the magnetised width, the strip width and the number of rows.
The strip is cut to the useful length to obtain two complementary Magnet Blocks.
The BAs go into a pocket, a sheath or a housing built into the final product.
The hold depends on the format, the cut length, the grade and the thickness between active faces.
You first choose a width, BA-V04, BA-V06, BA-V08 or BA-V12, then a block length and a grade to test. Designed and assembled in France by SYSTEMMAG since 2000, under 9 international patents.

The final hold depends on the substrate, the thickness between magnets, the direction of the active faces and the care protocol. We qualify it with you on the real product, never on a catalogue figure.
Integration approaches
Keep the same navigation principle across zips, strips, blocks, sheaths and custom developments.
Ready to sew in, in side (ZIP C) or centred (ZIP G) geometry, for openings that must stay discreet.
Technical scoping, integration drawing and adaptation to your product's constraints.
Alternating polarity, the grades and their qualification on a prototype.
The sewable textile housing that holds the magnet blocks.
Close with one hand, without aiming: the uses of adaptive clothing.
Receive a sample suited to your project to test the hold, the material and the assembly approach. Minimum order on request.
