  Instead of hooks, blocks of magnets inside the fabric. Bring them together and it is almost magic: they attract each other and the bra is closed. […] Because it is a block of magnets, it stays supple and follows the body closely; and the back size is easy to change, since the magnets can be repositioned to within a tenth of a millimetre.

  “Nouveautés” radio feature (Jean-Édouard Choppin)

  A magnetic bra… Instead of the usual hook-and-eye closure, there are two facing strips of articulated magnets. It holds perfectly and is far simpler to use than small hooks. Because one of the magnet blocks slides inside the fabric sheath that encloses it, the bra can be adjusted more finely, and it follows the movements of the body.

  Shown at the Interfilière trade fair, the new Systemmag magnetic fastening system could change habits. Two magnetic ceramic plates are slipped into a textile sheath; cut into small articulated dominoes that follow the curve of the back, they reduce fastening to a single click. The system can also adapt to the width of the back.
